 Born in Puerto Rico, Nacar relocated to New York City, where she developed her interest in beauty. It is where she combined her passion for service with her artistic talent.  After advanced training with L’Oreal, Redken, Vidal Sassoon and Wella, in 2013 she became an American Board Certified Colorist. She has worked backstage at NYFW & NYFW:M and her work can be seen in magazines internationally. Nacar specializes in natural looking highlights and color corrections, updated classic cuts, smoothing and texture treatments & tape in extensions. She offers a sophisticated take on more natural looks. Looks that are beautiful, flattering and fresh but also easy to maintain. With honest recommendations and custom hair care regimens, she has developed a truly unique way of doing hair. She has built a career spanning zip codes and long lasting relationships with her clients.

Having been in the hair industry for over 10 years as both a manager and behind the chair as a stylist and colorist, she knows the salon experience very well. In the Fall of 2021, Nácar opened The Studio NR in New York City. The Studio NR is an intimate and modern salon that elevates the intimate downtown beauty experience. With personalized customer service, she created a bespoke hair experience in NYC.
